World-famous Brazilian author Paulo Coelho has reacted to a literary initiative by the residents of an Iranian village, naming their alleys after world literature masterpieces.

The great author of ‘The Alchemist’ took to Twitter to react to the impressive initiative by residents of a village in the Iranian province of Hamadan who have named their alleys after the world’s masterpieces of literature.

“The initiative by book readers and literature lovers has given Rasoul Abad village a unique status and has made it known in the region,” the caption on his post reads.

In the same post, he shared a street sign photo showing the name of his popular book ‘The Alchemist’. The sign presumably belongs to one of the allies in Raoul Abad.
